Did you know that present drug rehabilitation schemes have failed to address the drug problem?

Did you know that the present official scheme regarding drug addicts is to prescribe methadone which is the virtual equivalent of an alcoholic being transferred from lager to spirits?

MAXIE RICHARDS IS your INDEPENDENT candidate standing AGAINST DRUGS issues which threaten the stability of this Nation.


Personal details used in election:
Maxie Richards, a former Head Teacher, has lived in Bearsden since 1963 and has campaigned for a change in drug and drug connected policies since 1986. She is currently Chairperson at HMP Longriggend Visiting Committee. In 1994 she was elected "Scotswoman of the Year" for her commitment to social change.

Working actively against drugs across the city she began to take addicts into her home for rehabilitation since 1990 and is now an expert on the whole drug tragedy. In 1995 Maxie Richards was awarded a Winston Churchill Fellowship, because of her innovative ideas, this allowed her to research European DRUG FREE policies which are driven by a vision expressing hope and a positive view of humanity!
