Election policy statement:
I believe passionately that the rights of individuals have been swamped by the vested interests of the Big Party Machines, with their spin-doctors puffing political slants on everything to suit their own party dogma. Their candidates are clones of the image makers - a creation of the party spin-doctors, and like dull and lifeless robots they mouth their party dogma in parrot like fashion on TV; radio and newspapers. This is a chance to put a bit of sparkle into Scottish politics, with radical INDEPENDENT thinking and dynamic opinions.

EDUCATION is important, EMPLOYMENT vital, HEALTH is paramount, and LAW AND ORDER essential. It is time to listen to what the people want instead of constantly having the plans of the big party machines stuffed down our throats, regardless of what we want. The Scottish people are famous for their skills, inventions and literature and we must not let anyone put our nation down. The oppression and fear created by the London based political parties must be ended. I have brought my family up in Renfrewshire and lived here all my adult life and I know the problems that we all face in today's Scotland.

My Personal Pledges:

I will open and maintain a fully staffed office in the constituency.
I will hold surgeries in the constituency every week.
I will ensure my telephone number is accessible to the public - not ex-directory.
I will be free to represent you unhindered by any party dogma.
I will be YOUR voice in the new Scottish Parliament

The people of Renfrewshire need someone to fight to keep every job and to strive for more work in the area. I will not be silenced by any party. A Scottish Parliament needs free thinking men and women, free to speak their minds, free to act on behalf of their constituents, and free to be the voice of Scotland.

That's why I have decided to stand as a genuine Independent for the New Scottish Parliament.
